Housing Options
Housing Options for adults with severe mental illness include 4 group homes, several staff supported apartments, 4 three-bed transitional apartments, a 4 tenant rooming house and a variety of subsidized apartments. The emphasis is on providing a range of options which promote consumer choice.
The group homes provide a structured, supportive, growth oriented environment that fosters the development of skills necessary for community living.
The transitional apartments provide housing for persons who have developed basic independent life skills but who need additional support as they strive toward independent community living.
The rooming house provides a supportive residence for persons with severe mental illness who have been homeless and are in transition to a permanent living arrangement.
Independent Living Skills (ILS) support is available to all residents in our housing programs. ILS services are also available to all Adult Mental Health consumers.
Therapy Services
Individual and group psychotherapies provided by mental health professionals are available to each consumer as part of a coordinated plan of service. For many consumers, psychotherapy is a treatment of choice at certain points in their lives when they can benefit from this approach as a supplement to the other services they are receiving.
