Overview


Children's Services at CHCS are community-based residential and outpatient programs serving children and their families in need of intensive help with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Services include:
  • Treatment Foster Care provides children and adolescents with a safe, nurturing family environment and an individualized treatment approach leading toward family reunification or independent living.
  • Group Care offers adolescents (10-18) treatment-focused group living for a period of 12-18 months leading to placement in a less restrictive environment.
  • Family-Centered Services offer short-term treatment to increase the family's ability to manage their own needs and reduce the likelihood of out-of-home placement.
  • Assessment Services are available in a structured, short-term residential setting to support planning for, and transition to, long-term care.
  • Early Intervention provides developmental therapy and family support for younger children.
  • Educational Services support children in local school systems and a licensed special-purpose school.
