CHCS Housing Options

Penobscot Riverview Apartments I(8 One-Bedroom Apartments) Applicants must have a disability and be either homeless or leaving a psychiatric institution with no home to go to at discharge. This is 2-Year transitional housing. Applicants must have Section 17/Community Support Services in place at move-in and have a need to work with community support on barriers to successful, permanent housing in the community. Tenants who were homeless prior to tenancy maintain their homeless status.

Penobscot Riverview Apartments II (4-One-Bedroom Apartments) Applicants must be currently homeless and document 60 days of homelessness in the past 365 days and have a disability. This is permanent housing. Tenants can use BRAP, S+C, or Section 8. Must have Section 17/Community Support Services in place at move-in and have a need to work with community support on barriers to successfully maintaining Housing.

Community Health and Counseling Services will provide community health services that are needed and valued by the communities and individuals we serve.
