You Can Make a Difference
An essential part of Community Health and Counseling Services's ability to carry out its mission is the support received from the generous donations and contributions from individuals, foundations and business who share our belief that everyone has the right to live to their highest potential while remaining as independent as possible.
CHCS offers you the following options for supporting the great work of the agency.
Annual Giving Campaign - These gifts are unrestricted and often are used to fill the gaps within underfunded programs, enhance existing programs or establish new programs. Money received from the Annual Giving Campaign funds may also provide an opportunity to apply the funds to matching grants when available.
Bequests & Planned Giving - A planned gift is any major gift, made in a lifetime or at death as part of a donor's overall financial and/or estate planning. Whether a donor uses cash, appreciated securities/stock, real estate, artwork, partnership interests, personal property, life insurance, a retirement plan, etc., the benefits of funding a planned gift make this type of charitable giving very attractive to both donor and charity.
1883 Society Member - These gifts may be made monthly or annually at the level beginning at $500. The membership funds also may be retrieved automatically from your bank account or credit card.
Endowment Fund - This is an investment fund set up by an institution in which regular withdrawals from the invested capital are used for ongoing operations or other specified purposes. Endowment funds are often used by nonprofits, universities, hospitals and churches. They are funded by donations, which are tax-deductible for the donors.
