Miss Maine Pageant

CHCS was thrilled to be a vendor at the Miss Central Maine Pageant held in Eddington in February 2020.  As we shared the need for foster homes, we also heard story after story from the remarkable contestants and reigning queens who were so passionate about their different platforms.  We were introduced to the Crown CARES (Creating A Respectful Environment in Schools/Society) Program, a program that teaches bully awareness and prevention within the schools. These young women were all so inspiring and demonstrated a collective consciousness of being attuned to the issues facing our society, a clear demonstration of their inner beauty as well as their physical beauty.
