Coming Home To Caring

We provide in-home professional health services to patients as they recover from illnesses or injuries.

Community Health and Counseling Services is a private not-for-profit Medicare certified home health provider, licensed by the State of Maine and Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) accredited.  We provide patients with services such as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, home health aides, and/or social workers. Telehealth services allow additional support and monitoring the patients' medical needs on days when professional staff are not visiting. 

Home care means being able to return home from the hospital sooner or, in some situations, avoid hospitalization altogether.  Home care offers support maintaining normal activities when a health problem affects the patient's quality of life.

Health services are provided in the privacy and comfort of one's home. In many cases home health care can be a welcome alternative, emotionally and economically, to institutional care.
