RESOURCE FAMILY SUPPORT CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

 BANGOR/DOVER; MACHIAS/ELLSWORTH; LEWISTON/AUBURN; AUGUSTA/SKOWHEGAN; MECHANIC FALLS/ROCKLAND AREAS


The Resource Family Support Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision, clinical consultation, education and leadership for other members of the Resource Family Support Services treatment team. This position provides clinical services as part of the Resource Family Support Services program within the assigned regions. Provides direct service and clinical oversight as part of foster family treatment teams. Provides initial face-to-face contact with referred foster families to determine the necessary level of services based on foster family needs. Master’s Degree in related discipline; State of Maine licensed LCSW and one year of relevant clinical experience needed.

RESOURCE FAMILY SUPPORT LIAISON

HOULTON/CARIBOU; BANGOR; MACHIAS/ELLSWORTH; LEWISTON/AUBURN; AUGUSTA/SKOWHEGAN; MECHANIC FALLS/ROCKLAND AREAS

This position is the core point of contact for foster family engagement in the Resource Family Support Services program.  The Resource Family Support Liaison will each work in a designated Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) District office Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  This person will initiate and build relationships with foster families and other members of the team, including providers, OCFS staff, and informal/formal supports.  Will provides support to foster families to ensure stable placement of youth in foster care.  Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or related field, LSW or conditional LSW licensure.  This position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with children and families. Past experience in or knowledge of the foster care system is required.

The Resource Family Support Services Specialist provides an array of services to support youth foster families engaged in the Resource Family Support Services program.  The goal of the program is to assist youth and foster families in obtaining the support and skills they need to improve youth level of functioning and stability of placement.  The role of a Resource Family Support Specialist in the Resource Family Support Services program will be determined by assessment of need and will be individualized for each youth and family.  Bachelor’s degree in a human service field, LSW or LSW conditional license required. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional, relevant work experience with children and families.
