RPCT CLINICAL SUPERVISOR


Full Time - Bangor

The Resource Parent Care Team Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision, clinical consultation, education and leadership for other members of the Resource Parent Care Team. This position provides clinical services as part of the Resource Parent Care Team within the assigned regions. Provides direct service and clinical oversight as part of foster family treatment teams. Provides initial face-to-face contact with referred foster families to determine the necessary level of services based on foster family needs.

  Must have a Master’s Degree in related discipline; State of Maine licensed LCSW, LCSW CC, LCPC, LCPC Conditional and one year of relevant clinical experience needed.

RPCT Support Specialist

Full Time - Machias

The Resource Parent Care Team Specialist provides an array of services to support youth foster families engaged in the Resource Parent Care Team program. The goal of the program is to assist youth and foster families in obtaining the support and skills they need to improve youth level of functioning and stability of placement. The role of the Resource Parent Care Team Specialist in the Resource Parent Care Team will be determined by assessment of need and will be individualized for each youth and family. 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field, LSW or LSW conditional license required. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional, relevant work experience with children and families.

This position is the core point of contact for adoptive families throughout the state who are seeking help. This Resource Parent Care Team Liaison will work in the Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) Central Office in Augusta, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This person will initiate and build relationships with adoptive families and other members of the team, including providers, OCFS staff, and informal/formal supports. Will provide support to adoptive families to ensure stable placement of youth who were previously in foster care.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a human service field or related field, LSW or conditional LSW licensure. This position requires a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience working with children and families. Past experience in or knowledge of the foster care system is required.
