Manager of Rehabilitation Services


Full Time - Bangor

Manager of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for directing overall functions of therapy services throughout the agency with purpose of supporting the mission; including but not limited to all skilled therapy staff including, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapy Assistants and other appropriate clinical or administrative positions as designated by COO.

Coordinate and supervise operations of the program; provide direct skilled service under professional licensure; and maintain performance improvement activities within the program. Assure competency of all staff members; collaborate/support rehabilitation budget, evaluate program performance, provide clinical advisement and supervison. Maintain efficient and effective operation while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.

Must be licensed PT, OT or SLP in the State of Maine and have a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in rehabilitative services and two or more years of supervisory experience preferred. Must hold a current Basis Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Must possess a valid Maine driver's license and  reliable means of transportation with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 auto liability insurance.

Provides both personal care to patients and environmental assistance to families under the supervision of the delegated primary nurse, thus allowing as far as possible, for the continuance of the necessary normal family activities within the patient's home. May be assigned to provide block time home health/hospice aide services for a hospice patient. Experience working with the elderly and experience working with mult-problem families desirable.

Must be on the State of Maine CNA and possess a valid Maine driver’s license

$1,000 sign-on bonus for new CNAs hired. $500 at time of hire and $500 after 6-month probationary period.
